The Inner Circle of Greens is a salad share that contains locally, sourced, mixed greens and prepared foods from a local chef (me). It is designed for foodies that have a well seasoned palate but also understand the importance of meal planning. Everything is made from scratch and responsibly sourced. How often can you say that about what you put into your body?
Every week you get:
-Half a pound of salad greens from your local farmer's market.
-8oz Quinoa.
-2 Prepared seasonal salads.
-2 Toss up items( soup, gazpacho, bread, parfait, overnight oats).
-Vinaigrettes, dressings, sauces, garnishes, butters and cheeses on the side when necessary.
With a dedicated focus on greens, he aims to bring a burst of freshness, flavor, and nutrition to your table, offering a personalized and health-conscious approach to elevate your dining moments in any capacity.
The Menu this week:
Texas Caviar with grilled sweet corn, black eyed peas, charred peppers, grape tomatoes, jalapeno, cilantro and a lime crema
Pearl Couscous salad with cherry tomatoes Persian cucumbers dill pickled red onion and preserved lemon herb vinaigrette
Black Bean soup with Poblano peppers chipotle peppers
spring onion cilantro and lime creme fraiche
Summer Stone fruit salad with peaches nectarines apricots cherries mango pineapple strawberry and lime
Invigorating Red juice with hibiscus strawberry peaches pineapple and ginger
Protein Suggestions:
Texas Caviar- this on is pretty versatile. Any type of grilled protein would be good
Pearl Couscous salad- this would be great with some fatty fish like salmon or mackerel, grilled or roasted
Black Bean soup- some roasted chicken or poaching some salmon in the soup would be good
*Also don't forget about adding your quinoa for extra protein
